The course is an introduction to the whole industry of dog grooming, this course is aimed at people who would like to learn to groom their own dog. We offer this fun experience to give you the skills needed to look after your loved dogs. In this course we will show you how to control your dog between professional grooming services, and how to style them to the way you love. This course will only take 1 session.
In this course you will cover all of the basic skills you will need to groom your dog, this includes:
Health and safety for you and your dog
How to complete a health check of your dog
Washing and drying using the correct shampoos
Learning the different techniques and styles specific to your dog
How to handle your dog during grooming
Consistent grooming has lots of different benefits including, Grooming every 4-6 weeks keeps your dogs coat and skin healthy and prevents your dog from matting. You will also be able to save yourself time and vet fees by learning to groom your own dog.
